In order to get your avatar up, you need to somehow get the image you want to use online. How do you go about doing this? Visit a website that lets you host images, such as PhotoBucket (www.photobucket.com). Once you have signed up - select 'browse' and find the image you want to use on your computer, before clicking 'upload.' Your image is now online and can be used as your avatar! In effect, after the upload is complete, you should be able to see the image in your album. Now copy the website address given in the 'Direct Link' to the image, and paste this under your 'Avatar Url' when editing your profile. The image you selected should now appear in your personal profile!
